据《雅加达邮报》9月16日报道,受烟霾影响,印尼苏门答腊和加里曼丹多达13个机场已经关闭。交通部发言人JA Barata称,由于有限能见度低至50米,位于中加里曼丹首府帕朗卡拉亚的Tjilik Riwut机场已经被关闭。除此之外,还有十二家机场由于烟霾被迫关闭。
Up to 13 airports in Indonesia have been closed down due to smog in Sumatra and Kalimantan.
The Transportation Ministry's spokesperson, JA Barata, told tribunnews.com that the airports were closed due to limited visibility, which was down to 50 meters at Tjilik Riwut Airport in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan.
Other airports that have been closed down are:
Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang, South Sumatra;
Sultan Thaha Airport in Jambi;
Raja Haji Abdullah in Karimun, Riau Islands;
Teuku Cut Ali Airport, South Aceh;
Melalan Airport in West Kutai, East Kalimantan;
Syamsuddin Noor Airport in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan;
Supadio Airport in Pontianak, West Kalimantan;
Iskandar Airport in Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan;
H. Asan Airport in Sampit, Central Kalimantan;
Kalimarau Airport in Berau, East Kalimantan;
Robert Atty Bessing Airport in Malinau, North Kalimantan;
and Rahadi Usman Airport in Ketapang, West Kalimantan.
